Read through Hebrews 12:4 – 13:25 in one go, and then look back particularly at the five verses which have been the focus of this week’s blogs. (If you want to re-read any of the blogs, click here.)
And now that we have reached the end of this course, reflect on what you’ve learned from it. What are the main points from each of the six weeks which you most want to remember?
.
“God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness... It produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” (Hebrews 12:10-11)
.
“See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.” (Hebrews 12:15)
.
“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.” (Hebrews 12:28)
.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and for ever.” (Hebrews 13:8)
.
“May God... equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever.” (Hebrews 13:21)
