Before we move on to Week 4, read through Hebrews 4:14 – 7:28 in one go, and then look back particularly at the five verses which have been the focus of this week’s blogs. (If you want to re-read any of the blogs, click here.)

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.” (Hebrews 4:14)

Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.” (Hebrews 5:8)

Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity.” (Hebrews 6:1a)

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain.” (Hebrews 6:19)

Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.” (Hebrews 7:25)
